  • After a two-year investigation, the suit filed by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing alleges that Activision has discriminated against female employees—including issues with promotions and pay—and that women were also the target of sexual harassment.
  • “All employers should ensure that their employees are being paid equally and take all steps to prevent discrimination, harassment, and retaliation,” Employment and Housing Department Director Kevin Kish said.
  • The suit alleges male employees openly joked about rape, and consumed alcohol during company events known as “cube crawls.
  • “Female employees are subjected to constant sexual harassment, including having to continually fend off unwanted sexual comments and advances by their male co-workers and supervisors and being groped at the ‘cube crawls’ and other company events.
